abstract:George Wolfe (1860 – 1 December 1941) was an Irish Cumann na nGaedheal party politician and farmer, who served for nine years as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Kildare constituency.
Three years before, environmentalist Joe Linton, GeorgeWolfe of LA River Expeditions, and a few others had trespassed onto the then-closed river in an attempt to prove that the waterway was navigable by kayak.
