Neither of us talked until Gabe returned with three water bottles. "Look who's coming," Gabe said, directing his words to Shane. All at once, the three of us turned our heads to see Bethany walking towards us. She was alone, so I didn't know where she came from or how she knew we were there. She just appeared, in a stringy white bikini that showed off her toned, sun-tanned body. Shane didn't move, though we all knew why she was walking towards us.
