abstract:Fox Evil is a novel by British crime-writer Minette Walters. It won the Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger in 2003, making her one of the few writers to win the award more than once.
Particularly revealing is the scene where the evil Jade Fox (veteran kung-fu movie star Cheng Pei-pei) decries the fact that she couldn't read, while her student Jen could and therefore surpassed the teacher in achievement and skill.
