Something was wrong. I didn't know what it was, or why my chest felt like it was constricting fast, but the need I had to rush off that stage was barely controllable. It had to of all been in my head. Her eyes were always that intense. It was normal. I had to keep telling myself that. I had to keep playing. Four songs too many. That's how long our set was. That's how long I had to wait to shove off that stage and into the green room.
