Since its inception (2005) to date, fourphases of the project have been completed, advancing in studies of the cultures of Central America, Mexico, Paraguay and Uruguay.
The government has appointed the Konza Technopolis Development Authority to oversee the building of the IT hub, which will be built in fourphases - starting with the technology centres first.
