With the help of this listserv, researchers and students will be able to work in a network and to create a real online FOSS community.

The FOSS for OER discussion formed the final session of a longer discussion in IIEP's Community of Interest on FOSS. The summary report of the discussion in the FOSS community was distributed to the joint OER and FOSS communities as a background document to the final session.
