Place the sliced almond evenly on the top of cake batter, then spread the honey over the almond. Bake in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes.

Pour batter into a prepared pan and bake in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cake is browned lightly. Let cake cool slightly before unmoulding it.
