In terms of pure quantity, Chinese women over 65 years old drank the fewest sugar-sweetened drinks (less than one perday), while Cuban men younger than 45 years old drank the most sugary drinks, at over fiveperday.
Consequently, one in two respondents reported leaving the office on coffee or snack runs at least once a day, with some making as many as five trips perday.
Among the recommendations were calls to limit added sugar to ten per cent of the total calorie intake and to limit daily salt intake to five grams perday.
