"I am unable to accept that either the paid item charges, and guaranteed paid item charges, or the overdraft excesscharges, are the price or remuneration, or even a part of the price or remuneration, that the customer pays, " he added.
While those dreaded fees and excesscharges won't be going anywhere in 2012, one welcome change to air travel this coming year is that airlines will be required to list mandatory charges in their advertised prices as of 24 January.
