As Mark drove us into town, he asked how my work was, if it was difficult getting back into the swing of things after being away for a fortnight. I found myself telling him about my different research projects, what I loved and hated about my job, my colleagues at work. He seemed genuinely interested in my mundane, everyday experiences. He couldn't be more perfect. The more time I spent with Mark, the more I seemed to be falling in love with him.
