Other irritants in the Estrada-Ramos relationship abound - most of them having to do with the perception that Estrada is either undoing Ramos's legislative program or not taking his predecessor's initiatives to their logical conclusion.
His opponents are not swallowing Estrada's arguments because they do not believe that economic reform is the only thing on the new cha-cha agenda, not even when he insists he does not want a second term.
