abstract:Eric England (born 1933, Union County, Georgia) was a sniper for the United States Marine Corps 3rd Marine Division during the Vietnam War. Joining the US Marine Corps in 1950, England was a Nationals rifle shooting champion by age 19 in 1952, and the all-time long-range champion by 1968.
His average would have been over 100 had he scored four runs in his final Test at the Oval in 1948, but he was bowled for a duck second ball by England's Eric Hollies.
He said UK Government Communities Secretary Eric Pickles had told councils in England they should allow bloggers to film their meetings and the same should happen in Wales.
