Marie-Paule Roudil stressed the necessity to rethink the nature and role of education and training systems in contributing to a more equitable and sustainable pattern of human development.
In the area of human development and social inclusion, the UN will continue to work towards reducing poverty, improving access to basic services in areas such as health, education and social protection, and achieving a more equitable and sustainable local and regional development for improving the socio-economic conditions of all, especially vulnerable groups.
