abstract:"When the Music's Over" is a song written and performed by American rock band The Doors, featured on their second 1967 album Strange Days. At almost eleven minutes long, the song is their third longest recorded work, behind "The End", at 11:42, and "Celebration of the Lizard", at 17:01.
Switch to a digital radio and, after a lag of less than two seconds as the digital signal takes over, WETA's music wafts through so clearly that whenthe DJ stops speaking, one suspects the radio has been turned off.
We haven't dived too deeply into the patents themselves, but it looks like Ed's going to have a bit of a fight on his hands here, as the patents seem to describe systems that have preloaded content about music that's then accessed when a data trigger is received overthe air, not just storing song information for later purchase overthe Internet.
