Ellman, who has hockey legend WayneGretzky as a partner, is developing Westgate, 223 acres of freeway frontage near the new hockey building that will house cinemas, shops, hotels, offices and condos.
The Olympic flame was jointly lit by four Canadian sports heroes - all-time hockey great WayneGretzky, skier Nancy Greene, speed skater Catriona Le May Doan and basketball All-Star Steve Nash after being carried into the arena by paralympian Rick Hansen.
