In viewing of the characteristics of low porosity and low permeability, well developed micro - fissures and high formation temperature in Baolang oilfield, we selected a strong gel profile correction agent with high temperature tolerance, large strength and good compatibility with the formations. Field experiment in Well B1306 reveals that water injection starting pressure goes up, water adsorption index lowers and injection profile is well improved after profile correction operation.
