For higher education, the administration is responding to years of stagnant support for grants to lower-income college students with a major increase in Pell Grants, which go to theneedieststudents.
My question to you is, will your administration support continued increases to the Pell Grant so that our needieststudents have access to higher education?
We greatly appreciate the increase in the Pell Grant, which allowed our needieststudents to access a college education. (Applause.) It increased buying power as college costs continue to rise.
