We saw companies presenting at .conf who were pulling data into Splunk, but then Splunk analyzes that data and feeds information back out through our other operational systems.
Once you find a way of analyzing a particular collection of datasets, you can use Splunk or Data Rush to process volumes of data while you are building out any new infrastructure that may be needed.
