She saw Aaron leaning on the wall just inside of the school as the last group of girls left, all of them giving him appraising looks, then giggling past him. His eyes, that still unnerved her, were focused in her direction. She tried to keep her gaze straight ahead, after all he obviously had no interest in being friends or otherwise. But she couldn't help but glance over, just as she passed him. He was looking right at her, his expression unreadable. Quickly she walked ahead refocusing on the steps, she almost ran down. Her house was only a twenty minute walk, but she had another goal in mind. She turned up heading into the woods above Lakeland High, it was a short cut to Marcus's house.
