In January, Goldman Sachs was granted licenses by the SecuritiesCommission in Malaysia to set up fund management and investment advisory services in Malaysia.
At the same time Citi announced it had been granted a brokerage license by the SecuritiesCommission of Malaysia to set up brokerage operations in Malaysia.
The company plans to sell up to 2.19 billion shares and list on the Bursa Malaysia stock exchange by June, according to Felda's draft prospectus on the website of Malaysia's SecuritiesCommission.
