abstract:Plastigauge is a measuring tool used for measuring plain bearing clearances, such as engines. Other uses include marine drive shaft bearings, turbine housing bearings, pump and pressure system bearings, shaft end-float, flatness and clearance in pipe-flanges and cylinder heads.
