Julianne Moore plays the poor Irish beauty Barbara Daly, who, in the thirties, marries Brooks Baekeland (Stephen Dillane), a passively egotistical heir to a great fortune.
As well as playing host to many works by Barbara Hepworth - together with equally-famous local lad Henry Moore - the gallery will also be the new home for Wakefield's art collection which, until recently, was held in a small Victorian town house on the other side of the city.
