At 146.8 inches long and 66.3 inches wide, the Coupe is almost as long and wide as the MINI Cooper S Coupe and MINI John Cooper Works Coupe (147 inches long and 66.3 inches wide), though it sits a full inch lower than either.
But with the one-size-bigger Countryman hitting dealerships now, and a Minicoupe and roadster coming soon, plus the likely Paceman crossover coupe, Mini to me is looking more and more like a wad of Silly Putty being stretched and deformed into too many shapes.
Third, and most important: While each of the previous variations of the BMW Mini got bigger, gradually moving away from the Mini godhead, the Coupe is actually a tiny bit smaller.
