abstract:John Masius (born July 30, 1950 in Scarsdale, New York) is an American writer and producer of television series, credited for creating the series Touched by an Angel (1994–2003), Providence (1999–2002) and HawthoRNe (2009–2011). He took over executive production of Dead Like Me with Stephen Godchaux after the departure of Bryan Fuller.
