He reached over and placed his hand on my cheek. "It's okay Max, I get it. Family comes first,"he said, understanding. "It just sucks 'cause I'm going to stay down in florida. School starts a week after. It means I won't see you until Thanksgiving," he said, frowning a little. He took my hand and pulled me into a standing position where he pulled me into a hug.
