abstract:The Incarnate Word is a name for Jesus Christ who Christians believe was the son of God living as a man on earth, was killed, rose from the dead, and now lives as true man and true God in heaven. Before becoming human, the second person/son of God the Father is referred to as the Divine Word, also known as the Logos, in many Gospels.
