Suddenly I became aware of my status and slipped under his arm, away from him. I snarled at him, my teeth shining brightly in the moonlight and he growled lowly at me. He moved closer to me, his movements aggressive and unlike him. I placed my hand on his chest and dug my long nails into him. I lowered my eyes and then looked up at him, pleading with him to return back to me. Suddenly his dangerous dark eyes changed and returned to their normal color.
