It looked up at me, baring its teeth. I slowly back up, keeping my eyes locked on the wolf. My heart rate picked up and I swallowed down the fear. So if it wasn't the fact that I had jumped in nasty ditch water and was touch by tadpoles, I had to run into a wolf! Animals. Nature. It was all, annoying. I turned down a different path and continued straight until I hit a field. Which wasn't shocking, considering that outside my little city, was farm. Meaning I had made it out of town. Hallelujah. Freedom. Or at least some.
