Ahead of the World Economic Forum, the non-governmental group's chairwoman, HuguetteLabelle, called on countries and businesses to change the way they work, for everybody's sake.
"Governments need to integrate anti-corruption actions into all public decision-making", said HuguetteLabelle, chair of Transparency International (TI), a body set up in 1993 to expose and tackle countrywide corruption.
"While no country scored a perfect score, the majority of countries scored below 50, indicating a serious corruption problem, " said HuguetteLabelle, the chair of Transparency International, in a news release.
