There's also a fine showing from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the American Chemistry Council, the Alliance for FoodandEnergy (whose members include Archer Daniels Midland and the Renewable Fuels Association), an alliance of utilities supporting clean coal, and nice props for nuclear power from California Senator Barbara Boxer, Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley and House Majority Whip James Clyburn.
The council said the cost of energyandfood, rising waste management costs, a lower-than-inflation settlement from the assembly government and other "budgetary pressures" left it with no choice.
