In this paper, the methods of drawing contour line from terrain map, the vector of contour line and generating elevation data from vector data are discussed.

Then, by applying this algorithm to the picture after pretreatment, we realize its edge-detection and get vector graphical data. As a result, we solve digital problem of geological contour-map.
