Ms. Perillo began to build her collection of old-time cookbooks in 2007, when she was vacationing on Cape Cod and stumbled across the Betty Furness volume atthe Wellfleet FleaMarket.
On Sunday afternoons at Plaza Dorrego in the San Telmo Antiques fleamarket, a local legend and resident, El Indio, does a demonstration of tango accompanied by a bit of history (in Spanish).
