Just a few months ago, State Supreme Court Justice David Prosser who is seeking his third term and is a well-known name in the state having served as Speaker of the Wisconsin Assembly before Republican Governor Tommy Thompson appointed him to the high court where he became a part of the 4-3 conservative majority, was headed for re-election in a cakewalk.
