Imbruce has created an ambitious advertising program by offering banner ads and "immersive" campaigns to major clients including Dell, Citibank and General Motors, who target chunks of their advertising budgets at college students.
Specifically, the company purchasing a PPC campaign pays the advertising publisher every time an advertisement, such as a text link or banner, receives a click.
This, Systrom says, would be an alternative to ugly banner ads -- and, it must be said, is exactly the kind of advertising we're inundated with on Facebook every day.
