And then I fell pregnant. I had been terrified. I was only 20 years old and still studying in college. I knew that I had to keep the baby – this was my baby, our baby. I knew that it would be difficult, but I was sure that our love would make everything OK. We would be a family, albeit a young family, but still a family.
