We were most impressed by the service at the hotel. Of course most service is Thailand is great, but we were especially happy with the folks at Sofitel. We arrived in the morning, and upon checking in, were offered a room upgrade. Take the room upgrade! The breakfast in the club lounge is a nice morning routine, and the free afternoon drinks can be a nice break in between running around the city. After agreeing to the room upgrade, we were notified that our room would not be ready for 30 minutes. We went upstairs to the lounge, and upon exiting the elevator doors were greeted by name, shown to a nice couch with a view, and offered drinks. From that point on, we were always so incredible happy with the service at the hotel. Absolutely no complaints.
