非惯性参照系（非惯性参考系）是相对某惯性参考系做非匀速直线运动的参考系，又称非惯性坐标系，简称非惯性系。非惯性系中，描述物体的运动规律虽仍可使用牛顿运动定律，但作用在物体上的力，除了外力还要附加牵连惯性力与科氏惯性力，这两个力不服从通常的力的定义，可是在非惯性系中能产生力的效果。物体相对非惯性系处于静止状态时，科氏惯性力为零，只受牵连惯性力的作用，这就是通常所说的惯性力。火箭发射时惯性力与宇航员所受的重力方向一致，航天员处于超重状态；航天器在轨道上运行时惯性力与宇航员所受的重力方向相反、大小相等，航天员处于完全失重状态。 地球有自转和公转，在地球上所观察到的各种力学现象，实际上是非惯性系中的力学问题。
