静强度分析研究结构在常温条件下承受载荷的能力,通常简称为强度分析。静强度除研究承载能力外,还包括结构抵抗变形的能力(刚度)和结构在载荷作用下的响应(应力分布、变形形状、屈曲模态等)特性。 静强度研究是飞行器结构强度学科中最早形成的也是最基本的一个方面,又称结构静力研究,包括静强度分析和静强度试验(又称静力试验)。
