防锈涂料，是可保护金属表面免受大气、海水等的化学或电化学腐蚀的涂料。在金属表面涂上防锈涂料能够有效的避免大气中各种腐蚀性物质的直接入侵，使得最大化的延长金属使用期限。可分为物理性和化学性防锈漆两大类。前者靠颜料和漆料的适当配合，形成致密的漆膜以阻止腐蚀性物质的侵入，如铁红、铝粉、石墨防锈漆等；后者靠防锈颜料的化学抑锈作用，如红丹、锌黄防锈漆等。用于桥梁、船舶、管道等金属的防锈。
