俗称硬玻璃。主要由二氧化硅、氧化钙和氧化钾组成。以石英砂、长石、碳酸钾和石灰石为主要原料而制得。制造过程中，与普通玻璃相比，钾钙玻璃是以碳酸钾替代了碳酸钠。钾钙玻璃常用于制作化学仪器和装饰品
