重铬酸钾滴定法是用重铬酸钾作滴定剂的一种氧化还原滴定法。在强酸性溶液中，Cr2O72-被还原为Cr3+。与高锰酸钾法比较，在室温和1mol/L盐酸条件下，重铬酸钾不与Cl-反应，故该法主要应用与在盐酸介质中测定铁矿石的含铁量，方法快速、准确。确定终点需用氧化还原指示剂，最常选用的是二苯胺磺酸钠。重铬酸钾易纯制，可作为基准物质直接配制标准溶液；该溶液稳定，可以较长期保存。
