配偶赡养费（Alimony或Spousal Support），是指夫妻一方所承担的向另一方所提供的经济资助以维持其基本生活开支的义务。通常，我们将接受配偶赡养费一方配偶称为“接收方配偶”（Recipient Spouse），而支付配偶赡养费一方则是“义务方配偶”（Obligor Spouse）。在美国有些州，也会将配偶赡养费表述为“Spousal Maintenance”。但是，无论是在怎样的情况下，配偶赡养费的条款中都不会包含配财产分配的问题。
