过热保护，指温度超过某一阀值时就启动相应的保护功能。电子设备或机械运行中由于能量转换或者摩擦产生热量，会导致运行异常或故障。过热保护采取方式有三种，切断设备运行、降低设备运行性能或者改善通风散热条件。
