赫章县，隶属贵州毕节市，位于贵州省西北部乌江北源六冲河和南源三岔河上游的滇东高原向黔中山地丘陵过度的乌蒙山区倾斜地带，地处东经104°10′28"～105°01'23"，北纬26°46′ 12″～27°28'18″，东西长85.276公里，南北宽77.696公里，东邻毕节、纳雍，西连威宁，南接六盘水，北界云南省镇雄、彝良。国土面积3250平方公里，总人口79.87万（2013年），政府驻地城关镇。 境内著名景点有赫章夜郎国家森林公园，有中国全国重点文物保护单位可乐遗址。
