解释学循环是解释学用语。指在对文本进行解释时,理解者根据文本细节来理解其整体,又根据文本的整体来理解其细节的不断循环过程。德国施莱尔马赫正式提出这一概念。认为理解的循环运动沿着文本来回移动,在文本被完满理解时才消失。狄尔泰发展了这一概念,认为解释学的循环包括相互依赖的三种关系:单个词与文本整体的循环;作品本身与作者心理状态的循环;作品与它所属的种类与类型的循环。他并把这种循环扩展到解释活动中理解与经验的关系上。
