解热镇痛抗炎药是一类具有解热、镇痛，而且大多数还有抗炎、抗风湿作用的药物。在化学结构上虽属不同类别，但都可抑制体内前列腺素( PG)的生物合成，由于其特殊的抗炎作用，故本类药物又称为非甾体抗炎药(NSAID)。
