西营盘位于香港岛的西部，位置为上环以西，石塘咀以东，是香港最早期发展的地区之一。地区行政上，西营盘属于中西区。又名西环、港岛西区，也是香港地产分析家所指的「西半山」之内。属于传统老区，人口老化现像较明显。 附图是正街北望。
