薄板轧机是指轧制（0.3～4.0）mm×（600～1000）mm薄板的轧机。热轧薄板成品的标准交货尺寸为(0.5 ～ 2.0)×1000 ×2000mm(厚×宽×长), 由相应规格板坯采用1200 薄板轧机轧制。由于经高温加热的板坯在经过多道次轧制。大幅度变形后, 其边角已不平直, 所以要对四边进行裁切。为了达到标准的交货尺寸, 在实际轧制时要留适当的余量。
