苏木素染色法 h（a）ematoxylin staining me-thod 指使用苏木素的染色法。苏木素是从原产中南美的洋苏木（Haematoxylon campechianum L．）的心材提取出来的浅黄褐色的结晶。氧化后变成氧化苏木素（haematein）。苏木素和氧化苏木素都没有染色能力，但与媒染剂结合形成色淀（lake），这种色淀具有染色能力。核、染色体、着丝粒、中心体、线粒体、髓鞘等可被染成蓝色以至黑色。与伊红合用的苏木素-伊红双重染色法是最基本的一般组织的染色法。
分别用活体染色、碘染色和固定染色（铁苏木素、三色染色法）。
