花叶病毒是由蚜虫传播的一种在植物上寄生的病毒。花叶病毒病和坏疽（环斑）花叶病通常在同一植株上作为合并症发生，危害十分严重。花叶病毒病，最初表现为叶片部分或整体萎蔫，呈黄白色斑驳的花叶状，出现皱缩。生长初期感染和发病的植株，生长不良，不结球，损失惨重. 坏疽（环斑）花叶病，在叶脉间形成许多1～3mm的黑褐色水清状斑点或轮斑，叶脉和叶柄上出现紫褐色水渍状坏死条斑。这种症状也出现在叶球内部。有的植株单侧出现病斑，导致叶球扭曲；有的在生长后期感染发病，只在叶球内部的叶片形成病斑。
